Angelina Jolie was impressive in relaying a story about an amazing powerhouse of a woman in Somalia who has been creating a safe haven for her people. Her goal beyond that is to educate the youth in how hard work, determination of spirit can change their lives and with hope they can change their country. |

  Zeke communicates with me and does it on such a level that I actually believe he knows much more than I can understand. At work he has a food bowl, water bowl, his wee wee pads and communicates his needs with me boldly during the day to get my attention. He travels well in a carry bag, which is perfect in hotels as well because he can do his business on wee wee pads. Thank God he is only 13 pounds! When he wants food he makes a sound that is the same all the time. He is also a neat dog- after he dirties the wee wee pad he wants it picked up. He will not go on it again and makes another sound for me to clean up. Sometimes he wants my attention and it is for anything else like simply paying attention to him when I am not paying attention. When we have meetings in the conference room he pulls a pillow from the sofa so he can sit with us and participate. When we have fittings around a model form he will get his ball or toy so we can throw it so he is "working" with us. So yes his toy is thrown throughout the fitting by one of the team throughout the fitting. He will get the toilet paper from the bathroom and stand in front of me with it in his mouth. When he is ready to leave for the day he will pull his carry bag out of the closet. When we get home he plays with a real size soccer ball and it is kicked and he maneuvers it back with his nose and body for as long as he can get me to do this; he is tireless. Then when he has had enough he gets his fluffy pad from the bedroom next to wherever I am sitting. When it is time to go to bed he brings his pad back to his bed. We do have our arguments and some disagreements but for the most part, he is my pal and life is pretty special with him in it. |
